This Week's Deals
If you've been sitting on a stash of Avios waiting for the right moment, this week might be it. There's a genuinely impressive spread of award availability out of London right now - and some of these off-peak rates are the best I've seen in months heading into summer.
We've got transatlantic Business Class, long-haul to Asia, and a handful of Economy sweet spots that punch well above their weight. Let's get into it.
Miles & Points Trivia
Let's warm up with a quick question tied to this week's content. Which hotel programme offers the single best cents-per-point value in today's hotel redemptions?
A) Hilton Honors - Waldorf Astoria New York
B) Marriott Bonvoy - Prince de Galles Paris
C) Hyatt - Alila Ventana Big Sur
D) IHG One Rewards - Kimpton Seafire Grand Cayman

🚨 Deal of the Week: London to Chicago Business Class for 88,000 Points
Route: London (LHR) to Chicago (ORD) on British Airways - Business Class (Club World)
Points cost: 88,000 Avios one-way at off-peak pricing
Available dates: Jun 2, 3, 4, 5 (next two weeks) and Jun 8 - that's a solid spread of options with HIGH availability.
Estimated value: ~3.8 cents per point based on typical Business Class cash fares on this route.
Why it's special: London to Chicago is one of British Airways' most competitive transatlantic routes, and 88,000 Avios at off-peak is a genuinely fair rate for Club World. What makes this stand out is the HIGH availability across multiple dates in early June - this isn't a one-seat needle-in-a-haystack situation. You've got real flexibility here.
There's also a Chase Ultimate Rewards to Air France KLM Flying Blue transfer bonus active right now (20% bonus, expires May 27), which won't directly apply to Avios - but if you're flexible on routing, Flying Blue has some excellent transatlantic Business Class rates worth comparing.
How to book: Search on the British Airways Executive Club website using Avios, or transfer from Chase Ultimate Rewards, Amex Membership Rewards, or Capital One Miles to Avios. Then search London to Chicago award availability here.
✈️ Economy Deals: Departing from Europe (London)
All deals below are on British Airways using Avios. Off-peak pricing applies unless noted.
London to Boston - Economy
27,500 Avios one-way - MEDIUM availability
Available: Jun 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - five consecutive days of availability is rare. Great if you want flexibility.
London to Chicago - Economy
27,500 Avios one-way - MEDIUM availability
Available: Jun 8, 9, 15, 16, 17 - off-peak pricing on a transatlantic route for under 30k points is solid value.
London to Los Angeles - Economy
33,000 Avios one-way - MEDIUM availability
Available: Jun 16, 17, 22, 23 plus Jun 19 at peak pricing. Off-peak dates are the ones to grab.
London to New York - Economy (Peak)
33,000 Avios one-way - MEDIUM availability
Available: Jun 19, 26, 28, 29, 30 - note these are peak-priced dates heading into the Independence Day travel window. Still reasonable for New York.
London to Singapore - Economy
44,000 Avios one-way - LOW availability (move fast)
Available: Jun 13 and Jun 24 only. Slim pickings but strong value for the distance.
London to Miami - Economy (Peak)
38,500 Avios one-way - MEDIUM availability
Available: Jun 6, 14, 18, 19, 20 - peak pricing, but Miami in June is Miami in June. Worth it if that's your destination.
London to Hong Kong - Economy (Peak)
44,000 Avios one-way - LOW availability (just Jun 6)
One date, one seat. If Hong Kong is on your list, don't sleep on this one.
🏨 Featured Hotel Redemptions
Two standout hotel deals caught my eye this week - one in Paris and one that might be the best bang-for-points property in the entire dataset.
Prince de Galles, Luxury Collection - Paris
~130,000 Marriott Bonvoy points/night - estimated value of 11.6 cents per point
An iconic Art Deco palace steps from the Champs-Elysees. At 11.6cpp this is exceptional Bonvoy value - and with the 5th night free on award bookings, a week in Paris gets very interesting indeed.
Alila Ventana Big Sur - California
~45,000 World of Hyatt points/night - estimated value of 6.7 cents per point
One of the most dramatic coastal properties in the US, at just 45,000 Hyatt points per night. That's a steal for Big Sur. Full hotel redemptions list - including Hilton, IHG, and Marriott options - is below the paywall.
Featured Hotel Redemptions
Top hotel award values this week:
JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa (Marriott) - Aventura, FL, US | 8.3cpp value
