This Week's Deals Are Genuinely Exciting
If you've been sitting on a stash of Avios or Avios-adjacent points waiting for the right moment - this might be it. We're seeing high availability across multiple transatlantic routes from London in early May, and there's a First Class gem tucked in there too.
We've got 24 flight deals and 12 hotel redemptions to dig through today. Some of these routes are at off-peak rates even though they fall in what feels like peak season - which means the value is genuinely there. Let's get into it.
UK readers - Smart With Points flagged a massive 120,000 Avios offer on the Amex Business Platinum this week (ending May 5) - worth knowing about if you're based in the UK and haven't picked this one up yet.

🚨 Deal of the Week: London to Boston First Class for 68,000 Points
Route: London (LHR) to Boston (BOS) - First Class on British Airways
Points required: 68,000 Avios one-way (off-peak rate)
Available: May 19 only - low availability, so move fast
Why it's special: First Class transatlantic redemptions at off-peak rates are rare. The standard peak rate is 80,000 Avios, so you're saving 12,000 points by grabbing this off-peak date. British Airways First Class to Boston means the Club Suite flat bed up front, Champagne on demand, and a proper arrival experience at BOS - all for fewer points than many people spend on a peak business class ticket.
Transfer bonus angle: The Choice to Air France KLM Flying Blue 100% bonus (expires April 24) won't help here directly, but the Citi ThankYou to Virgin Atlantic 30% bonus (expires April 18) is worth knowing about if you're flexible on carrier. More on that in the premium section.
How to book: Search on the British Airways Executive Club website for LHR to BOS on May 19. Log in with your Executive Club account, filter for First Class, and book directly. Taxes and fees on BA transatlantic First are generally manageable.
✈️ Economy Deals: Departing from Europe
All departures below are from London (LHR). Availability is noted - High means multiple seats, Medium means a handful, Low means grab it now.
London to New York (JFK/EWR)

London to San Francisco (SFO)
33,000 Avios one-way - Economy - High availability (off-peak rate!)

London to Chicago (ORD)

Available: May 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - Chicago is a great gateway and this is solid value at peak-season dates.
London to Boston (BOS)
33,000 Avios one-way - Economy - High availability

London to Singapore (SIN)
49,500 Avios one-way - Economy - Medium availability
Available: May 11, 19, 25, 26, 27 - scattered dates through May. The late May dates (May 25-27) are peak-rated, so aim for May 11 or 19 if you want off-peak pricing.
London to Hong Kong (HKG)
38,500 Avios one-way - Economy - Medium availability (off-peak rate)
Available: May 4, 13, 17, 19, 27 - the off-peak rate makes London to Hong Kong surprisingly competitive in economy. May 4 is technically peak-rated but priced the same here.
